This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from Zinga Labs. We support deletion requests in line with Switzerland's FADP and the EU/EEA GDPR where applicable.
How to request deletion
Email privacy@zingalabs.org from the email address associated with your account (if possible).
Use subject: Data Deletion Request.
Please include:
- Your full name
- The email(s) you used on Zinga Labs
- Your country of residence (helps identify applicable law)
- What you want deleted (account, applications, newsletter, etc.)
For your security, we may request reasonable verification (e.g., confirming access to the account email). We do this to prevent unauthorized deletions.
We will confirm completion by email. Where deletion is restricted, we will either anonymize data or retain it only for legally permitted purposes (e.g., security logs, legal claims, audit obligations).
What we may retain (examples)
- Security logs and records needed to prevent abuse or fraud
- Minimal records to comply with legal obligations
- Records needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
Timeframes
We aim to respond as quickly as possible. Under GDPR, requests are generally handled within one month, subject to extension for complex requests.
